It\u2019s where we built our life together, where we&#8217;ve worked, grown, and learned. But it\u2019s also exhausting. The noise, the pollution, the constant grind it wears on you. We started craving something simpler. Something slower. Something with purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s when we started thinking seriously about the Buying land close to Boom\u2019s family in Chumphon Buri, in rural Surin Province. It\u2019s peaceful, fertile, and full of potential. It felt like the right place to build something new from the ground up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Were_Building\"><\/span>What We\u2019re Building<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re not just moving to the countryside to sit under mango trees (though that does sound nice). We\u2019re building a working farm\u2014<strong>Ban Rahan Fish &amp; Greenery Farm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s the plan:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Aquaculture<\/strong>: We\u2019ll be raising freshwater fish, focusing first on tilapia and catfish.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hydroponic Vegetables<\/strong>: Inside a custom-built plastic grow tent, we\u2019ll grow leafy greens like Lettuce and herbs, all without soil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Off-Grid Solar<\/strong>: Our 10kW solar system and battery bank will power the entire farm, reducing costs and our footprint.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>YouTube Channel<\/strong>: We&#8217;re documenting the whole process, successes and screwups included, so others can learn, laugh, and maybe even be inspired to take their own leap.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Big_Picture\"><\/span>The Big Picture<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re not doing this because we\u2019re dreamers. We\u2019re doing it because we\u2019re tired of waiting for the \u201cright time\u201d that never comes. Not only that, but we want to grow our own food, live closer to nature, and spend our days doing something meaningful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is about freedom. Independence.
